Q: How do I get a username and password to login to this website?

Only our trade customers will be provided with a username and password. To apply, visit our
Register for Access section and follow the instructions provided.
A trade customer is defined as
- 1. Responsible for making decisions on behalf of a business about the purchase of tobacco products which are to be sold in the course of that business; or
- 2. Occupy a position in the management structure of the business in question which is equivalent in seniority to, or of greater seniority than, that of any such person listed at 1 above; or
- 3. A member of the board of directors or other body of persons (however described) which, is responsible for the conduct of the business in question.
Q: What is my customer ID?
A:
Your Customer ID (or unique number) can be found on the ID plate of your Imperial Tobacco cigarette unit or on other communications from us. If you're not sure, then your Imperial Tobacco representative or account manager can help. Alternatively you can telephone the Sales Operations Department on
0117 963 6636.
You do not need to provide your Customer ID to register, however it speeds up the process if you do.
Q: Why do I have to register; other trade websites don’t require this?
A:
The Imperial Tobacco trade website contains trade tobacco branded imagery that may be considered tobacco advertising if this site were openly accessible. The 2002 Tobacco and Promotions Act (TAPA) restricts tobacco advertising however make a exception for legitimate trade customers receiving commercial information.
